    Hi, Kevin!
Thanks for the music you sent through Stana. You seem to have a good sense of musical drama. I would suggest that you look at developing your understanding and use of diverse tonality to create additional interest and tension. There are not too many composers around who write well for voice - this might be an area worth investigating, particularly if you have some knowledge of vocal technique.
I have not worked at the UWA School of Music for quite a few years and some of the teaching staff there are pretty new. Perhaps you should have a look at their website and make contact with them later.
    Good luck!
    Alexander

    Hi Kevin,

I’m a Perth filmmaker and lecturer. Did you compose the score for “Gypsy Coin” at Revel-8 last year? It was one of my student’s films. Music was fantastic! Can you get back to me as soon as possible via email?

    Cheers,

    Burleigh.

  5. Kevin Penkin Says:

    Dear Kevin,

I’m a producer on an independent feature film that’s now in it’s ADR/post-production stage and are looking for a original composer.

Learn more about the movie at it’s official website @ http://www.BackInSlack.com! Or on IMDb or on Facebook!

    Please e-mail us at “crewsimpletinpictures@yahoo.com”

WILL DEFINITELY be paid work, no one we feel sure work for free on a score, but still we are securing more resources, so it’s still negotiable. Thank you!

PS. I heart FF & Team Ico as well.

    My very best,

    Marel Medina

  8. James Paul Says:

    Hey man, how’s everything going?

This stuff is really fantastic! I love the sounds you’re creating - particularly Emerson’s Atmospheres. The Spirited Away re-write is spot-on, too. Such a great movie.

I’ve got a .zip of the Logic folder for that track I played in workshop, if you’re still interested. It’s 85 mb though, so I can email it to you if you can receive files of that size or i’ll put it up on rapidshare or something (or make a .torrent of it if you like).

Let me know what works for you and i’ll make it happen!

    Catchya,
    James.

P.S. shoot me an email at davidjboring@gmail.com if you like, will make it much easier to communicate than cross-checking these web-pages alla time.
